Who Will Come for You?

Grim_Reaper

All of us have an interest in what happens after we die. Even those who proclaim that nothing awaits us still secretly wonder if they’re right, or if there really is another world ‘out there’ somewhere.

As someone who has visited that other world, I know there is more to our reality than meets the physical eye. Jen Engevik wrote about her quest to find some answers when she questioned her dying mother as to what and who she saw awaiting her.
If you have questions and you wonder just what is waiting for us on the other side, read Jen’s article and take a look at my book, Escorting the Dead.

My mom, who is 87 but not “sick”, started dreaming of people who have passed last July. We’ve been keeping track thinking these dreams are signaling she’s moving on. She was having dreams weekly and then would go a couple months before another. She’s ready to go. We’re hoping for her sake these dreams mean something is brewing on the other side and they’re getting ready for her

My dad also had dreams and long conversations with my mother (who had preceded him in death), even though he was relatively healthy. And for five years he often told us that he would be “going home” soon to be with her. Five years to the day that my mom died, my dad died. He had a massive heart attack although he’d had a physical just a month earlier and the doctor said he was in pretty good health for his age.

Sometimes, people just want to go home, and who are we to stop them? The best you can do is be good to each other for as long as she’s here.

      Hugs to you both
